A humorous favorite. Clay figure "Critterman" attempts to please God by giving Him his house, his hobbies, his money, even his lucky rabbit's foot. God refuses them all. In desperation, Critterman asks, "What do you want? I don't understand!" and discovers that what God really wants is his heart. A stylized narrative driven by an original score, well-placed visual effects and only a few spoken words juxtapose the real meaning of Christmas against the modern reality of the season: shopping anxiety, consumerism and materialism, and relational conflict. In the story, we see a kindly street person and stressed-out upper-middle class family experience the Christmas season in different ways. Their paths cross when the street person picks up and makes use of a discarded Christmas present: a bible thrown out by the family in their post-holiday trash. Available on preview tape 5.

In this video "greeting card" that gives thanks to God, Scripture verses offering God praise and thanks are superimposed over beautiful fall images of God's creation, including autumn flowers, the changing colors of trees and water scenes, all taken at harvest time. A background of tender, warm piano music accompanies the visuals, which leaves one in awe of God's goodness and faithfulness.
